Max C. Rosin
Mr. Rosin has owned and operated Rosin & Associates since its founding in 1989. He has extensive experience in real estate, including appraisal, distressed properties and workouts, feasibility study development, portfolio acquisition, real estate tax certiorari issues, and expert witness services.
In 1996, Mr. Rosin developed and ran a significant contract underwriting firm for CMBS origination and B-Piece due diligence support. Chants include Lehman Brothers, Eurohypo, UBS, Deutsche Bank, CSFB, Artesia Mortgage, Allied (CW Capital). Scope of underwriting services is nationwide. Annual transaction volumes have averaged ±150 loans each year since 1996.
Mr. Rosin's education includes a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Organization and Management (MBA), 1985. His undergraduate education was completed at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, 1978.
Prior to founding R&A, Mr. Rosin worked as Staff Appraiser at Arthur Andersen & Co. and Research Engineer at McGill University.

Marc Esrig was the founder and Principal of Vista Realty Partners, LLC (VRP). VRP was a boutique real estate development and consulting firm which developed a number of Core and Core plus retail properties in the New York Metro Area.
At VRP, Mr. Esrig was the lead partner in the acquisition, development, redevelopment, leasing, Financing, and management of a number of retail and commercial properties within the outer boroughs of NYC as well as the larger metro area. He developed a number of commercial properties in Brooklyn, including New York City's first 24 hour Starbucks. He also acquired a Five acre site at JFK International Airport, and obtained complicated New York City DEP approvals which allowed this landlocked site to be developed. Mr. Esrig also developed Chauncey Square, a well known retail center in Dobbs Ferry, NY. As part of development process, Mr. Esrig negotiated leases with numerous national tenants and NYC brokerage houses including tenants such as Bed Bath Be Beyond, Linens N' Things, New York Sports Clubs, Raymour & Flannigan, CVS, Smoothie King, Staples, Starbucks, and others. Mr. Esrig also managed two projects through New York City's Uniform Land Use Review Procedure ("ULURP”). Mr. Esrig was selected to acquire real estate properties from the City of New York through the Economic Development Corporation including an urban retail development assemblage. Prior to founding VRP, Mr. Esrig was a Vice President with Greenthal/Harlan Realty Services responsible for the disposition of a $100 million portfolio of distressed residential loans on behalf of the RTC. Responsibilities included asset management, individual and bulk loan sales, and open-outcry auctions. Additionally, Mr. Esrig developed ground-up retail and industrial properties in the New York Metro Area. Prior activities include loan and RED work-out responsibility at The Dime Savings Bank of New York. Mr. Esrig has a Master of Business administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Pace University Lubin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University.
Michael Weinberg, MAI
Mr. Weinberg specializes in commercial, industrial, residential and special purpose valuations in the New York Metropolitan Region and Cape Cod, MA. He has worked in the appraisal industry for almost forty years and has served as the senior appraiser for the IRS for 14 years. He earned his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a NY State Certified General RE Appraiser (Lic# 46000001146). Mr. Weinberg holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.
Senior Supervisory Underwriter
Mr. DePetris has been associated with R &A since 1999. During this time, he has managed the commercial mortgage underwriting department and was responsible for performing appraisals, and the review of all underwriting and due diligence projects. He has also performed numerous appraisals in the New York Metropolitan area. After completing his first stint at Rosin Associates, Mr. DePetris worked at UBS and Morgan Stanley as a Senior Underwriter. At UBS, Mr. DePetris facilitated all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including sizing and quoting potential deals, preparing loan applications, negotiating deal terms, managing the deal process, and, ultimately, closing the transaction. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. DePetris prepared loan sizings and transaction summaries for potential large loans utilizing Rating Agency criteria to determine investment grade proceeds and subordinate debt levels based on various other investor criteria.
Mr. DePetris has also served as Principal at RED Real Estate Consulting, where he implemented client formulated underwriting guidelines and procedures for new origination Bridge and CMBS loans for clientele including Bancorp, Credit Suisse, Hunt Mortgage, JP Morgan, Ladder Capital and Prime Finance.
Mr. DePetris holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Lehigh University.
Associate / Underwriter
Mr. Carlacci has been at Rosin & Associates since 2016 and is responsible for underwriting CMBS and bridge loans for a variety of clients, including Ladder Capital, Benefit Street Partners, and Loancore Capital. He has also performed commercial appraisals for institutional lenders, private clients and government agencies. He has appraised commercial real estate properties including mixed-use properties, apartment buildings, retail space, office condominiums, coop apartments, and development rights within NYC.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Carlacci interned at Pacific Ergonomics, a company that provides ergonomic consulting for office, industrial, and laboratory environments throughout Southern California. At Pacific Ergonomics, Mr. Carlacci had the responsibility of being the warehouse manager, which included all incoming and outgoing deliveries, scheduling installations, and inventory monitoring/management.
Mr. Carlacci holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University.
Anthony (A.J.) Racanelli
Senior Analyst / Underwriter
Mr. Racanelli has been at Rosin & Associates since 2018 and is responsible for appraisals, investment analysis, and underwriting due diligence. During his time at Rosin & Associates, Mr. Racanelli has appraised industrial buildings, vacant development sites, multifamily, and retail and commercial condominiums for institutional lenders, private clients and government agencies.
Prior to joining R&A, Mr. Racanelli was a business management consultant for TIAA's Individual Advisory Services group in Boston, MA. At TIAA, he managed different strategic work streams with the end goal of making TIAA’s Wealth Management Advisors more efficient in day-to-day operations. Mr. Racanelli is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of New York.
Mr. Racanelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Boston College, Carroll School of Management.
Financial Analyst / Underwriter
Mr. Hollin joined Rosin & Associates in 2018 and provides commercial real estate valuation consulting, underwriting, and due diligence services for both institutional and retail clients. During his time at Rosin & Associates, Mr. Hollin has appraised, vacant development sites, multifamily, NJ town-homes, and retail and commercial condominiums for institutional lenders, private clients and government agencies.
Mr. Hollin formerly interned for the McDevitt Company, a full-service global commercial real estate service provider specializing in site selection for retailers, namely Urban Outfitters and their subsidiaries (i.e. Free People, Paper Source, and Anthropology). While working at McDevitt Company, Noah evaluated and advised a major redevelopment initiative which sought to convert South Street, a premier retail corridor in Philadelphia, into mixed use facilities.
Noah earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Urban Studies with a concentration in urban economic and real estate development.
Mr. Rosin joined R&A in 2018 and provides commercial real estate valuation consulting, underwriting, and due diligence services for both institutional and retail clients. His work includes appraisal, commercial loan underwriting, and new business development. He utilizes Microsoft Excel and ARGUS Software to build, prepare, and update complex financial models detailing operational, valuation, and structural considerations. Additionally, Mr. Rosin implements pipeline management software to guide the full cycle of targeting and acquiring new business.
Previously, Mr. Rosin has worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at HomeAdvisor. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Mr. Rosin is a licensed New York State Real Estate Salesperson.
Ms. Feinstein joined Rosin & Associates in 2019. In this role, she assists both institutional and private clients through providing valuation, appraisal, and underwriting advisory services. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Feinstein previously interned at the Witkoff Group, a vertically integrated real estate development firm, where she conducted market research on the viability of developing hotels in different cities across the US. While working at the Witkoff group, she gained experience in the development of different properties, strategizing financing for multiple projects, as well as assisting project managers in monitoring properties such as Ian Schrager’s Public Hotel and the Times Square Edition.
Ms. Feinstein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia where she majored in Economics.
Mr. Friedenberg joined Rosin & Associates in 2019. In this role, he assists both institutional and private clients through providing valuation, appraisal, and underwriting advisory services. Prior to working for R&A, Mr. Friedenberg interned for Lightstone Group in New York City. As the Real Estate Development Intern, he gained experience in project management through working closely on the Moxy Chelsea and Moxy Times Squares properties. During his senior year at Cornell, Mr. Friedenberg spent a semester in Barcelona, Spain. In addition to taking a variety of finance and Spanish language courses in Barcelona, he also interned for TeamOn, a corporate finance, investment, and real estate firm as the M&A Analyst.
Mr. Friedenberg holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University where he majored in Hotel Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance and a minor in Real Estate.
Mr. Verini joined Rosin & Associates in 2019. In this role, he assists both institutional and private clients through providing valuation, appraisal, and underwriting advisory services. Prior to working for R&A, Mr. Verini interned for Tishman Realty, a vertically integrated real estate owner, developer, operator and advisor. While working at Tishman, Michael performed valuation testing and review of real estate assets for financial reporting and client-specific purposes. He supported the team by gathering research for market assessments and demographic reports for potential developments in Manhattan, Puerto Rico, and Orlando. Additionally, Michael created and worked with financial models to determine the market value of properties, for purposes including purchase price allocation, and financial reporting.
Mr. Verini holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University where he majored in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Calinoff spent a year at Red Capital Group underwriting multifamily commercial real estate loans covering the Midwestern and Eastern United States. Prior to her time at Red, Ms. Calinoff spent a cumulative 7 years at Barclays Capital in different capacities. Her roles included the Los Angeles-based role of originating and underwriting commercial real estate loans in the Western United States, the New York-based role of analyzing and monitoring a portfolio of distressed asset-backed backed securities (including CLOs, CMBS and RMBS), as well as the Singapore-based role of analyzing and monitoring Emerging Market credit products. Ms. Calinoff also spent a year as a commercial loan underwriter at Hypo Real Estate Bank International.
Ms. Calinoff holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in Saint Louis.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sandler was employed by Maple Inc., an Online Digital Marketing and Media Solutions firm that handles among other things Real Estate Marketing and sales. At Maple Inc. Mr. Sandler was responsible for research and development for lead generation within the real estate sector, negotiating with classified and international customers, providing service to specific inquiries and resolving client queries. Mr. Sandler has also served for three years (2007-2010) in Israel’s defense force as a combat and special operations fighter in the elite unit of the paratroopers.
Mr. Sandler holds a Bachelor of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy degree with a dual major in Business Administration and International Relations from the Interdisciplinary Center – Herzliya, Israel.
John Mingle, MAI
Mr. Mingle’s specialization is in CMBS underwriting and commercial real estate valuation. Previous positions include working as a Senior Underwriter for the Large Loan Group of Lehman Brothers, a Senior Appraiser for National Westminster Bank and Manufacturer’s Hanover Bank, as well as operating a fee valuation firm.
He has earned his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and holds an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. He is a New York State Certified General R.E. Appraiser, Lic. #46-2139
Prior to joining R&A, Mr. Fulgoni worked with Project for Public Spaces (PPS), a public space revitalization consultancy based in New York City. At PPS, Mr. Fulgoni worked with the communications and business development departments to further the reach and scope of the organization. Understanding and relating project experiences to the greater public required a deep knowledge of the various aspects of all parts of the consultation process, including project finance, design and community-building. This experience necessitated a working knowledge of real estate development approaches and practices.
In 2013 Mr. Fulgoni worked for the Malaysian and US Governments as a Fulbright Scholar. Along with receiving a joint Anthropology and Spanish degree from Grinnell College.
